VLookup Function in Excel | How to use VLookup Function in MS Excel

Basic VLookup Function is :  =Vlookup(Lookup Value, Table Array, Col Index)

The above formula used to find the relevant value to the lookup value easily.

In the formula Lookup Value = to which value you have to find the relevant value.

In the formula Table Array = in which table you have to find the lookup value.

In the formula Column Index = In the table in which column you to find the lookup value.

For Example:

If there is a table containing seasons and months.

the above table is source table to find the lookup value.

Then

In the above table Column No 4 is empty (i.e. Months)

So now you can use the formula to find the months to the given seasons.

Here in the cell the formula used is J12 is lookup value & H:I is Table Array and 2 is column to which you should get the result and o is Exact match to the result.
